To provide a safe and engaging environment where youth can find Jesus, follow him, and live like Scripture says.
Ryan and Destiny are both very excited to head the youth ministry at Newark Church of Christ. “We are passionate about developing a community for our youth and helping them build their faith. Growing up in the church with a strong youth program deeply benefited the both of us and we believe it is important to pass it on to the next generation. Youth and Family Ministry

Sunday mornings and 3rd Fridays
Sunday School: We have bible classes for students starting at 9:45 every Sunday. We have classes for all age groups. Babies and preschoolers 0-4 are taught by Dale Foster, 5-9 year-olds are taught by Gail Friedline, and our older kids 10-14 are taught by Ira Lockwood.

Jr. Church: We have classes during Sunday morning service for kids as well. We have a nursery for babies and toddlers. We have classes for kids 4-7 taught by Leia Heckman and Lindsay Laxton. Classes for ages 8-13 are taught by Destiny Carmona and Ryan Spellman.

Youth Night: We have a monthly youth event on the third Friday of every month from 6pm to 8pm. Dinner is provided. Ages potty trained to 18 are invited to join us. Parents are welcomed to stay or go as they please. Our hope for youth night is for kids to have a place to create fellowship and community with each other.
